Baseball season hasn’t been going too well for Matt Kemp(riri's boy toy -___-) ever since he’s been hanging out with his new girl Rihanna. He’s been benched several times this season which has left his coaches and teammates worried that he is distracted by his very public relationship with Rihanna, however, he disagrees.

“My girl has nothing to do with what I do on the baseball field,” Kemp says. “If anything she helps. She makes me happy, and as stressed as I am coming home sometimes, it’s nice to have someone there who just wants to support you.”

Here’s what his coach had to say about his game:

“Last year he spoiled everybody by the way he played,” Torre said. “We had higher expectations for him. I’m sure he had higher expectations for himself. We talked the first day he came to spring training, he was filled with all this energy about ‘Let’s keep going. Blah, blah, blah.’ And then he hit that wall in late April, or wherever it was, and had a terrible May and June.

The only thing I can say is what you saw last year, and what you see at times this year, the thing missing is consistency. The only thing I can say to the fans who are concerned — and we’re all concerned — is just to invest a little more time

"Young, Fat and Fabulous" blogger Gabi Gregg is MTV's new "Twitter Jockey." Gregg, who goes by @gabifresh on the social networking site, won the network's "Follow Me: The Search for the First MTV TJ" on Sunday, August 8.

The 23-year-old plus-sized blogger and Detroit Native was one of 20 contestants chosen by MTV to vie for a $100,000 contract to be a social-media representative for MTV.

She and four other contestants made it to the final round at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City, where she won the popular vote during every elimination round.

"My main goal is to really connect with the audience," Gregg told MTV last night. "I don't want to be the same as the MTV Twitter, I want to keep it personable and keep in touch with the followers. I want to give them a voice."

In light of all the drama surrounding The Dream and Christina Milian and other celebrity relationships that have dwindled in the spotlight, Parlour Magazine sat down with OG Bun B for some advice on love and relationships. Bun B, who has been happily married for 12 years, shared great insight when it comes to choosing your mate, women utilizing the power that they have in relationships and shacking up before marriage. Here are some of the excerpts:

Bun B on choosing your mate
The most important is to choose someone with whom you feel you can build something. As a woman you don’t just want to get with a man that’s a good provider because if anything happens to that provider, you’ll be left to find another one and you’ll never learn how to provide for yourself. If you’re a woman in that type of relationship, there will eventually be a child involved and you don’t want to be that type of mother to your child. So before you look to get married, make sure you have some sort of training or that you’ve learned a way to contribute and make money should your provider fall by the way side. But the best scenario is to have two like minded individuals working towards the same goals both of them equally enjoy building up something until they establish that foundation where one of them can choose to take the time off to raise a child, that’s the perfect situation. Well, actually the really perfect situation is that they grind hard so they can retire and raise a child together. Good luck finding that.

Bun B on Living Together Before Marriage
I’m not a big fan of that. [If] They’ve been together for three years, they’re probably already having sex and the only thing separating them is their personal space. If they’re not ready to commit fully, then it can only hamper the situation. Once you allow people into your personal space, it usually doesn’t strengthen the bond, it tends to separate it and if they haven’t already become engaged or really ready to move to that next level anyway, moving in together is a minor technicality. I wouldn’t suggest it at all. It’s always good to keep as much personal space from someone as possible until you’re ready to share everything.

On Women Claiming The Power They Have In Relationships
You have to stop using your power in relationships for purses and shoes. There’s nothing wrong with wanting nice things, but if all you’ve built your relationship around is making sure you can maintain these nice things then that’s the only parameter to which he’s going to be loyal and faithful. So when you get mad about other things, he’s going to say ‘all you ever wanted was this and I gave you this all the time. You never said this was going to be an issue.’ There’s no such thing as implicit understanding in the bowels of a relationship. I’m going to tweet that.

Kanye West proclaimed Nicki Minaj as the “scariest artist out right now” in an interview with Angie Martinez on Hot 97 earlier today. During the interview, Angie Martinez asked Kanye West who he looks to as someone who makes him work harder. He responded:

This is such a big statement and such a big thing to fill but I think the scariest artist in the game right now is definitely Nicki Minaj and I think she has the most potential out of everyone to be the Number 2 rapper of all time. Because nobody’s gonna be bigger than Eminem. Eminem is the #1 Rapper of all time.

When Angie Martinez asked him to elaborate on what he meant as biggest artist (ie in terms of sales, fan base, etc) he responded:

Everything! Having a whole network one day. Everything that comes with it. [#2] to Eminem. I’m just dealing with reality.

Kanye then slipped and said “She has the mentality to do it. The verse that she did on…” before he stopped mid sentence, realizing that he wasn’t suppose to give details on his album. (Earlier in the interview he slipped and revealed the album would come out on November 16th).

According to TMZ.com, Paris Hilton is being sued by a hair extension company which claims the heiress signed a multi-million dollar contract to use and promote their fake locks … and then totally blew them off — causing$35,000,000 in damages.

According to a lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Hilton got just over $3.5 million since agreeing to become the spokesperson for Hairtech International’s Dream Catcher hair extension line back in 2007.

But according to the docs, Paris didn’t satisfy her end of the bargain — when Hairtech claims she was “seen in magazines and on television not wearing [their] hair extensions and was in fact wearing competitors’ hair extension products.”

In the suit, Hairtech claims that “more than 600 hair extension professionals” were scheduled to attend at the party — but because Paris couldn’t make it, they lost opportunities which should have resulted in $6.6 million in revenue.

Earlier this year Vanity Fair released their “New Hollywood” cover featuring 9 women that they felt were the new stars of Hollywood. The cover sparked a lot of controversy for the lack of diversity on the cover and the exclusion of African American actresses on their list. Movie Publicist Arian Simone has responded to Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue by creating a publication of her own titled “Fearless Magazine”. The premiere cover celebrates women of color who are actresses in Young Hollywood including Lauren London, Monique Coleman, Tia Mowry, Tiffany Hines, Naturi Naughton, Kyla Pratt, Jennifer Freeman, and Chyna Layne.

The issue will be available soon as a unique digital issue accessible on Iphone and Ipad. I received a print copy while in LA recently and the concept was incredible. Fun, Fly and Fearless. Aside from the feature on Young Black Hollywood, there were great “fearless” testimonies inside as well as some beauty and fashion features. The premiere issue also included a hot spread featuring the cast of Takers.
